Sarvar Sabri is an internationally renowned tabla player whose versatility, and passion for the rich diversity of the world's musical traditions, has spurred him to constantly experiment with other world-class musicians and composers, and to extend the boundaries of his own classical form.
Sarvar Sabri performs regularly with some of India's great masters of music, including his father legendary sarangi maestro Ustad Sabri Khan. He also performs with contemporary jazz bands and orchestras including BCMG (Birmingham Contemporary Music group) CBSO (City of Birmingham Symphoney Orchestra), Sinfonia Viva, Trishula (Martin Speak Trio) etc.He has composed and performed extensively for theatre, dance, radio and TV both in India and internationally..
